KCMO holds first KCATA Funding Review Committee Meeting – April 25

Kansas City’s new Ordinance 130173 set up the KCATA Funding Review Committee, to “recommend a multi-year financial plan for distribution of the (1/2 cent ) transportation sales tax after reviewing the needs of the bus service and establishing a maximum allocation for development and expansion of a streetcar system”. The committee’s final recommendations are due to the Council by August 1, 2013.
The meeting is open to the public.
The initial meeting of the committee is tomorrow and will include a presentation on “KCATA 101”.
